This a new experience for me.  I am excited about the potential of this web based information outlet and I hope you find it helpful and meaningful.  Please bookmark this site to your web favorites. Thanks.

The Vision:  A one stop web page with links to all the details of a planned hike.  The Itinerary, Maps, Gear lists, and best of all; a comment and reply feature, our own forum that will create a common record of all the Q&A leading up to a hike.

Work to Do:  I will add links to other helpful sites.  I will add a "Find Me" tab that will link to my Spot Locator so your friends and family can monitor your progress with GPS accuracy and Google Earth Imagery.  The "Food" tab will evolve and I would hope to add your favorites that we can all benefit from.

Contacts:  I can still be reached the good old fashioned way.  You should have my cell # and my ask*****@aol is still active.  This site is run by Google and I have a new hike4ward@gmail.com associated with it.

Please be patient with me while I learn how to manage this site.

Privacy:  Currently, this site is for "public viewing."
Otherwise you would have received one of those invited-to-join emails that  require you to sign up for a gmail account.  If you already have a gmail account, feel free to join this site if you wish.  I will keep personal info off this site and moderate all comments that come and go.
